Lopdell House Gallery and the Portage Trust are delighted to facilitate the Portage Ceramic Awards but as is the nature of any award it is entirely in the hands of the makers themselves to support it and create an event that inspires, amazes and provokes discussion. Each year Lopdell House Gallery and the Portage Trust provide a vital platform to showcase the diversity of talented artists nationwide who work in a medium that wins the hearts of makers, collectors and the general public like no other.
In previous years, seperate websites have been set up to promote and display the work. Our goal this year is to combine this rich archive into a single site, with easy to use navigation - opening up this material for the general public.
Exhibition runs 8 October - 5 December
